Check you ego at the door when

lifting weights at the Gym!

You should always do one or two warm up sets of an exercise before really challenging your self. When you do a light set of weights, this tells your body to prepare the muscles and joints for the stress that is coming. Your body does this by sending a lubricating fluid in to your joints. Don't devalue the importance of warming up your muscles. Following this tip could save you from weeks of pain and recovery from an unwanted injury.

Don't rush your workouts - take time to warm up!

Sometimes, too much of a good

thing can be bad!

A lot of times when people start lifting weights and exercising, they think that doing more is better. This is not always the case. It is important to know, that when you work out, you are fatiguing the muscles and they need time to recover. Over training can lead to injuries and lack of results. Creating a workout that allows time for rest and recovery will not only help you see results but will also help you avoid burnout.
