IF YOU FEEL PAIN IN YOUR KNEES OR SHINS WHEN YOU RUN OR WALK, ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS TO CHECK IS YOUR SHOES. HAVE YOU HAD YOUR RUNNING SHOES FOR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS, IF SO IT'S PROBABLY TIME TO INVEST IN A NEW PAIR. A GOOD RUNNING SHOE SHOULD HUG YOUR ARCH AND GIVE YOU GOOD ANKLE SUPPORT. YOU DON'T WANT TO BUY A SHOE THAT IS NOT COMFORTABLE AND HAS TO BE BROKEN IN. IT SHOULD FEEL GREAT RIGHT AS SOON AS YOU PUT IT ON!

YOU WILL ALSO WANT TO CHECK YOUR RUNNING STYLE TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT LANDING ON THE FRONT OF YOUR FOOT. A LOT OF RUNNING SHOE STORES HAVE TRAINED STAFF TO HELP YOU LEARN HOW TO PROPERLY ALIGN YOUR FEET WHILE RUNNING. A LOT OF TIMES A GOOD ARCH SUPPORT IN YOUR SHOE WILL HELP A LOT.

IF YOUR PAIN PERSISTS EVEN AFTER CHANGING SHOES, IT MAY BE TIME TO HAVE IT CHECKED BY A DOCTOR. DON'T WAIT TOO LONG, HOPEFULLY YOU CAN CATCH IT AT A POINT, WHERE POSSIBLY SOME PHYSICAL THERAPY TYPE EXERCISES CAN HELP REMEDY THIS SITUATION.

SO DON'T FALL IN TO THOSE "MIRACLE" DIETS OR ANY TYPE OF CLEANSING DIET EITHER. ANY TIME YOU ARE NOT EATING ENOUGH FOOD YOU WILL BE LOSING FAT AND MUSCLE.
